All of our BirdTricks Exclusive toys are made with your flock’s safety and engagement in mind. All natural materials including, but not limited to, jute, sola, mahogany, corn husks, palm leaves, and balsa, are used throughout our toy line to provide an array of different textures and foraging opportunities in an effort increase both mental and physical health. Even our BirdTricks tags are made out of veggie tanned leather, providing a non-toxic additional source of entertainment for your bird. We hope you and your flock enjoy these amazing designs that are all hand made by our small (but mighty!) team here in the US.
Fun Facts About This Toy
Named as an inside joke between some team members, the Rollie Pollie is one of our most versatile tiny toys that is perfect for both tiny and small birds. It is simultaneously a foraging toy, chunky toy, and shreddy toy because of the wide range of materials used. The dried corn husk provides a shredding element that is a favorite among smaller birds, the loofah provides amazing foraging opportunities (as does the corn husk sections) AND there are also different woods and materials that are great for destruction purposes. Because of this, we can’t classify it as just one type, but we can classify it as a whole lot of Rollie Pollie fun.
